waiting for advice from admin-Trondtr (march 2019)

Hi Jimbo Wales, we are a small wiki, and we receive excellent advice from our admin Trondtr.

Hopefully "North Sami wiki" will choose where to put its limited resources, from its few contributors.

Maybe wikipedia can find a solution, within reasonable time, or maybe not:
(And hopefully I can report "a calm situation", a few weeks from now or sooner.)
From the article about the municipality of Bergen,
"(... in English language) MISTAKE IN INFOBOX: "Fylka Bergen Municipality"

The problem (about misinformation in the infobox), has already been handed over to the discussion page of Jon Harald Sæby, for around 4 days.

Threats of blocking, and edit-warring-ish behaviour seems to be the flavor at the start of this day.

"push down" the banner ad, and write it in a Sami language, or removing the ad?

Hi Jimbo Wales (Jimmy Wales),
Come time, perhaps someone will "push down" and correct the following "banner-ad", which is not in "a Sami language". Sigh.
Instead of leaving the banner-ad its place (as a header), it might be better that it gets removed.
Banner-ad (as of 2019, october 1):
"Do you speak Davvisámegiella? Help us to revive the Northern Sami Wikipedia! See Wikipedia:Bargokantuvra and discuss the future of this project on Wikipedia:Gáffestohpu".

(And perhaps any such Sami banner-ad, should be placed after the main text of the article.)

regarding i.p.-editing and also welcoming a new administrator

Hi Jimbo Wales,
Today a new sheriff (or administrator), came to town; the
first new one in at least a year, as far as I can remember.
(He has had cirka 20 edits this year, but is otherwise not an unknown.)

On another note, more or less: I expect to not log in at wikipedia North Sami langugage, for some weeks or months.
(Years ago on another Scandinavian wikipedia, one wikipedia-user said that he preferred to IP-edit:
in that manner there is less bad-chemistry going around (for whatever reason). Merry Christmas and a "happ I.P. new-year" !
P.S. I hope to inform your user page, when milestones have been reached at this wikipedia; one
has heard that you don't necessarily mind being informed of the state of things.
